Verdant Structural Engineers (VSE), located in Berkeley, CA and licensed across the United States, is a full service Structural Engineering firm. VSE provides structural drawings and calculation materials required for building permit submittals on a wide array of projects, as well as providing consultation for the review of existing structures, product development, building code development, and legal testimony. VSE works on a large variety of projects ranging from home remodels to mid-rise commercial projects, including schools, wineries, breweries and other public buildings.

Verdant believes that Great Engineering is Green and they specialize in both environmentally sensitive approaches to conventional building systems of all types, this includes low-carbon concrete and Optimum Value Engineering (OVE) as well as deeper green, low carbon, biogenic, and natural systems such as straw, hemp and clay (adobe, rammed earth) construction. VSE is on the cutting edge of research, code development and product use and development in this space.
